Does coordinating and running a live video shoot put you in your comfort zone?
Does managing a large volume of videos get you excited about the opportunity to project manage across a team of editors?
If “YES!”- then apply.
If “NO!” – then this isn’t the position you’re looking for.
Video is a big part of what we do from a revenue and brand perspective. And we have a system, so we know what works well and what doesn’t.
But, we don’t have someone who can implement the system yet is also laser-focused on improving our videos so they increase audience retention and improve our rankings.
That’s where this job comes in.
Video serves three key areas:
? YouTube: It’s the second-most used search engine (following Google). How do we create the right content that entices a user click yet is engaging enough to increase our rankings on SERP and lead prospects to convert on our website?
Curriculum: Test prep can be perceived as boring. Yet at 240, our content is significantly more entertaining than our competition. How do we create content that is engaging, fun, and impactful and allows us to really differentiate ourselves?Brand: When users come to our website, see us on YouTube, or use our freemium content, we have one shot to gain their trust. How can we create the right content that pulls on their emotions of needing to pass an exam and show enough legitimacy for them to choose us to solve their pain?
This job encompasses the three areas above. You’ll work cross-functionally across the company with curriculum, product, content marketing, social, and our executive leadership team. You’ll manage a team of contractors, including talent, camera operators, editors, and more. It’s a lot to manage from a project and people management perspective.
The success of this role is measured by the attributed revenue and exposure from YouTube as well as NPS of video-watchers in our curriculum.
