Translator (English – Mexican Spanish) Freelance

Unit9 Ltd are currently seeking a Freelance Translator with expertise in translating English to Mexican for 5 days from 11th March 2024.

The 5 days will be used to translate the following project elements from English into Standard Mexican Spanish:
2 story scenarios
the website UI
and the alt text
The translator will be required to submit the translations within the provided copy matrix in Google Sheets.
Timeline Milestones and Cadence:
Daily stand up for 15 minutes per day + additional creative lead check ins as needed
Translation required the week of May 18th for final integration into designs
Note: The freelancer will be expected to check in with the other Creative leads on a regular basis and to attend internal stand up meetings as required
Experience Required;
Proficiency in both Mexican Spanish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
Proven experience as a translator, specifically translating Mexican Spanish to English
Familiarity with cultural nuances and idiomatic expressions in both Mexican Spanish and English
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in translations
Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
Knowledge of industry-specific terminology in areas such as technology, media, and creative industries is preferred
