The Role
The world?s largest restaurant company is seeking a talented and motivated Technical Product Manager to drive the ongoing evolution of Yum?s next-generation Point of Sale solution. As a Product Manager at Yum!, you will be accountable for the strategic and tactical execution of technical solutions tailored for KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and The Habit Burger Grill…
The ideal candidate will possess a proven background in planning, prioritizing, and delivering complex technical software solutions in concert with engineering and design counterparts. Experience in managing a diverse set of stakeholders and their sometimes-competing production-critical needs is key. To be successful, Product Managers at Yum! must be willing to dive in and become experts on the products we?re producing and how we architect and create them.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning:
? Think big picture.
? Balance an intake of requests from production clients across the globe.
? Manage and communicate quarterly product and capacity planning.
? Be accountable for the Poseidon Evolution roadmap and all that goes along with roadmap ownership.
? Work with the discovery teams to plan for new market launches and set expectations.
? Become a trusted partner to the global brands we support.
Delivery & Execution
? Partner with stakeholders and other product teams to gather top-level scope and requirements.
? Drive the development team in understanding, refining, and executing on a roadmap.
? Be an invaluable partner to your engineering and design peers.
? Capture, track, and provide status on top risks, actions, issues, and dependencies.
? Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
? Identify key decision points for escalation and maintain decision logs.
? Proactively provide regular updates to stakeholders and the Yum! Leadership Team.
Qualifications
? Minimum of 4-6 years of Technical Product Management or equivalent product experience.
? Highly organized.
? Experience with Jira & Confluence.
? Ability to read and author system diagrams and technical documents.
? Exceptional prioritization skills; you know how to organize execution and sell the prioritization decisions.
? Proven written and verbal communication skills.
? Deep experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
? Excellent problem-solving skills.
Salary Range: $108,700 to $149,930 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we’ll consider the successful candidate?s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
Benefits: Employees (and their eligible family members) may enroll in the following types of insurance coverage: medical, dental, vision, legal, and accidental death and dismemberment, as well as FSA/HSA (depending on enrolled medical plan).
