Job Summary
We are looking for a Social Media Specialist who possesses the energy, enthusiasm, and imagination to take Lulus to the next level. As a key member of the marketing team, you will be responsible for creating, curating, and managing content for our brand’s TikTok account, bringing the brand?s mission to life. You will work to increase brand awareness, engagement, and growth on the platform by creating compelling short-form video content that aligns with the brand’s goals and target audience.
You must be able to work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines and possess a keen eye for detail. The ability to accept constructive feedback and be flexible with requested changes in work is essential. Individuals must be team players but also can work independently and self-manage projects and deadlines.
What You?ll Do
? Develop social media strategy to effectively achieve marketing goals, ensuring Lulus stands out among competitors
? Plan, produced, and executed weekly content, crafting engaging short-form videos with TikTok-style editing to bring to life the Lulus story and showcase products in a fun, playful manner
? Keep a sharp eye on TikTok metrics, providing regular performance reports and tweaking strategies as needed to meet key performance indicators (KPIs)
? Ensure all content is in line with TikTok’s policies and guidelines, including adherence to music copyright regulations
? Partner with the Influencer Marketing team to form strategic partnerships with key TikTok influencers and content creators to boost and broaden Lulus’ TikTok presence
? Stay in the loop with emerging creative trends and insights, generating innovative ideas to incorporate into the brand?s strategy
? Creating and maintaining a social media calendar and working closely with social media and influencer teammates to help engage with our followers and grow our community
? Continuously ideate and innovate to find new and exciting ways to engage audiences to drive awareness and affinity for Lulus brand
? Support the social media team with any needs across other social media channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Snapchat, etc.
What You?ll Need
? 3+ years of experience within the social media, digital marketing, creator, and influencer marketing space for a consumer brand (in-house or agency) within the fashion/retail space.
? Minimum 1+ years of proven experience with TikTok content creation and management, with a portfolio of successful TikTok campaigns
? Strong understanding of TikTok’s culture, trends, and algorithm
? Proficiency in video editing and creative software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or TikTok’s built-in editing tools)
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Data-driven and results-oriented mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret TikTok analytics
? Strong organizational and time management skills to maintain a consistent posting schedule
? Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing social media landscape
? Understanding of legal and copyright issues related to music and content on TikTok
? Consistency in giving feedback regarding work progress, timetable, and issues
? Ability to work effectively with co-workers, customers, and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner
? Excellent work ethic and attendance

? Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
? Knowledge of TikTok advertising and sponsored content
? Experience creating, curating, and content on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Snapchat, etc.
