The brand marketing team is responsible for building brand love and affinity for this world-class brand, inspiring & engaging Starbucks customers and partners (employees). Leveraging creative-thinking, data & insights and strategic frameworks, the senior manager, Brand Marketing will help drive U.S. brand strategy and integrated brand marketing campaigns to deeply connect with customers and partners. In this role, you will build trust-based relationships with your peers in marketing, creative studio, internal and external communications, DAIBO (analytics and insights), and operations, and must effectively influence to achieve shared goals.

As a senior manager, Brand Marketing, you will…
? Define the company’s seasonal brand marketing goals and priorities to build brand affinity & trust and drive the business.
? Lead omni-channel brand marketing campaigns from strategy through execution, measurement, and reporting.
? Establish and operationalize foundational brand tools to help build brand understanding and stewardship across the company, driving integration of our brand principles into all parts of the customer and partner experience.
? Gain a deep understanding of customer and partner audiences, trends and brand health. Work closely with our insights and media teams to report on brand health and quantify brand marketing’s impact on the business.
? Partner with key stakeholders across marketing, creative studio, internal and external communications, DAIBO (analytics and insights), operations, and international marketing to operationalize brand strategy and accelerate the growth of this iconic brand.
? Identify, evaluate, and action new opportunities to increase brand affinity.
We?d Love To Hear From People With
? 7-8 years in consumer brand marketing, brand strategy, strategic planning and/or brand management experience in a large scale corporate or agency environment
? Experience with marketing campaign strategy and management and project manager – 7+ years
? Passion for building global brands via best-in-class strategy, creative, and execution
? Strong communicator – Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Ability to confidently present objectives and desired outcomes to leadership and cross functional teams. Consistently uses communications and presentation skills to influence outcomes. Ability to influence others without authority to get things done in a timely fashion.
? Problem solving and creative thinking – Ability to think creatively. Ability to problem-solve and drive towards resolution. Ability to evaluate creative and marketing programs against strategy.
? Cross-functional collaboration – Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience leading and/or facilitating cross-functional or organizational groups. Ability to build a level of trust and respect amongst peer group and recognizes the importance of solid relationships.
? Fostering creative excellence – Provide creatives teams with the equipment and insight they require to develop world-class brand, advertising, and marketing initiatives that live up to the Starbucks standard.
? Project and process management skills – Ability to manage time and budget effectively, including balancing multiple priorities to meet deadlines. Ability to identify or implement systems and process improvement.
? Change management – Ability to work in ambiguous and changing environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
