Position Overview: Are you passionate about Roblox and eager to share your expertise with aspiring game developers? We are… seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Roblox Instructor to join our team. As a Roblox Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in teaching new Roblox games, nurturing critical thinking skills, and creating an interactive learning environment for students of all ages and skill levels.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Roblox Games: Design and deliver engaging online classes to introduce students to the exciting world of Roblox game creation. Utilize your expertise to explore game mechanics, scripting techniques, and design principles, inspiring creativity and innovation in your students.
Encourage Critical Thinking: Foster critical thinking skills by challenging students to analyze and solve problems within the Roblox platform. Encourage creativity, experimentation, and strategic thinking to deepen students’ understanding of game development concepts.
Provide Feedback and Support: Offer constructive feedback and guidance to students as they navigate through different Roblox projects and challenges. Support individual learning goals and provide assistance whenever students encounter difficulties or roadblocks.
Maintain a Strong Internet Connection: Ensure a stable and reliable internet connection to deliver seamless online classes. Promptly troubleshoot technical issues to minimize disruptions during teaching sessions, ensuring a smooth learning experience for students.
Engage with Students: Cultivate an inclusive and interactive learning environment by actively engaging with students during classes. Encourage participation, discussion, and collaboration among peers to enhance the learning experience and foster a sense of community.
Stay Updated on Roblox Trends: Stay informed about the latest trends, updates, and developments within the Roblox community. Incorporate new features and game mechanics into your teaching curriculum to keep classes relevant, engaging, and up-to-date.
Requirements
Expertise in Roblox: Proficient in playing, creating, and scripting within the Roblox platform. Demonstrated ability to navigate various Roblox games and understand game development concepts.
Strong Internet Connection: Reliable high-speed internet connection to facilitate smooth online classes. Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues as needed.
Engaging Personality: Charismatic and energetic personality with a passion for teaching and inspiring others. Ability to connect with students and create a positive learning environment.
Effective Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner suitable for students of all ages and skill levels.
Flexibility: Willingness to work on a demand-based schedule, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate student availability.
Experience in Teaching or Tutoring (Preferred): Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring students, especially in the field of game development or computer programming, is advantageous.
