Manager, Facilities and Utilities Platform Engineering

We are on a multi-year transformation journey to modernize our network of 18 manufacturing sites and to expand our operations. This requires a different approach to engineering strategy. In the recent past, the equipment decisions were made at an individual plant level. The plan is to change that to a platformed menu of choices that each greenfield can choose based on their business need and masterplan. The Facilities & Utilities Platform Engineering Manager is responsible for creating platform standards for utilities equipment, ensuring the highest standards of quality, sustainability and safety get implemented in partnership with CPS local delivery team and suppliers. The role is crucial in ensuring the seamless start-up and optimization… of KPIs: WUR (Water Usage Ratio) and EUR (Energy Usage Ratio) for the new greenfields.

What You?ll Do for Us:
? Drive the design, engineering and delivery of the Facilities & Utilities platform equipment, ensuring compliance with Coca-Cola?s quality standards and regulatory requirements in partnership with OEMs and CPS local delivery team.
? Create an equipment platform by defining the equipment menu of choices for Facilities & Utilities. This includes creating detailed URS (User Requirements Specification) as well as equipment specifications in partnership with CPS engineering, operations, QSE and R&D.
? Monitor and analyze operation?s data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for Facilities & Utilities improvements.
? Participate in budget and long-range planning for the Facilities & Utilities platform, including forecasts, cost analysis, and investment proposals for new technology or equipment.
? Partner with suppliers to finalize the equipment specifications and ensure the suppliers do design and fabrication of mechanical and electrical components in line with specifications.
? Do equipment testing at equipment supplier factory to ensure performance meets the specification and participate in equipment startup at the greenfields.
? Update specifications based on learnings from start-up as well as based on the technology upgrades available from the supplier or industry.
? Employ root cause analysis to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions. Support the development and execution of reliability and maintenance program for the equipment.
? Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
? Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies, leading initiatives to promote a safer and sustainable liquids processing workplace.
? Follow and comply with all safety requirements and work regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements
? Bachelor?s degree in engineering, or a similar discipline.
? At least 8 years of Experience in Facilities & Utilities engineering or operations. In-depth knowledge of processes, safety, quality, costs and regulatory standards relevant to the beverage process industry.
? Proven track record of successfully managing manufacturing startups and greenfield projects.
? Ability to partner and collaborate, both internally with different functions and other CPS plants as well as externally with suppliers.
? Strong attention to detail, especially when identifying potential issues, making assessments, and giving recommendations.
? Basic knowledge of CAD and ability to read equipment drawings.
? Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
? Good leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.
? Knowledge of quality systems, safety
? Good English verbal and written communication skills.
? Ability to manage projects and multitask effectively.
? Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, multicultural environment across different time zones.
? Travel: More than 25% up to 50%

Pay Range:

$120,000 ? $149,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
