Location and Work time: Full remote and anytime! This position is 100% remote. The office is in The Highlands area, Denver (if you live in Denver that would be great but not required). The time you work is flexible and could be done outside of regular work hours, so you could have a normal work hour job and do this work.

Job Summary:
Fun, fast-paced company is in search of a part-time Bookkeeper with 3+ years of accounting experience.
Perform all staff accounting functions. Be responsible for financial statement preparation. Prepare and manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll. Collections and follow up for timely payment of invoices with clients. Responsible for the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts. In addition, this position is responsible for assisting the CEO with some administrative reports for the company.
Candidates need to demonstrate above-average attention to detail and accuracy, ability to understand and follow policies and procedures, good Microsoft Excel and Word skills, excellent QuickBooks skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines with minimal supervision, basic understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, and strong organizational and coordinating skills. Candidates should have experience in an office environment, flexibility, and the ability to multi-task. Excellent attendance at required meetings, responsiveness, excellent communication skills, ability to work constructively with others in a team setting, good judgment, ability to learn quickly and able to work well independently and under pressure are required.
Bookkeeping Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Monthly recurring and miscellaneous journal entries, month-end close and reporting
? Billing
? Bank reconciliations Responsible for the accurate reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and lender accounts
? Management of cash and loans
? Maintain database for consultant placement, including monthly billing, cash receipts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
? Special projects as required
? Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures (most everything is all already set up)
? Clean up of prior year activity to create accurate current year financials
? Processing payroll
? Assist with general office and other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Required:
BA/BS in Accounting preferred (Not required). Three years (minimum) relevant accounting experience required.
Required Knowledge:
Proficiency in Excel and Word
Proficiency in QuickBooks.
Proficiency in invoicing and a determined problem-solving approach and ?acting with a sense of urgency? regarding securing invoice payments in an ?on-time? manner.
