Fast growing accounting / consulting firm seeks a Full Charge Bookkeeper for our location in our Long Island office. This individual will be responsible for the following functions for our clients:
? Entering bank transactions and preparing reconciliations,
? Entering vendor expenses,
? Preparing various account reconciliations,
? Payroll entries,
? Maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger,
? Assist with monthly financial closings,
? Assisting with accounting procedures,
? Assisting with financial projects,
? Assist in preparing financial statements for audit, review and compilation engagements.
Qualifications:
? At least 3 years working experience
? Must have strong working knowledge of QuickBooks
? Must have experience with MS Excel
? Working knowledge of NetSuite a plus
? An understanding of accounting principles
? Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written
