We are looking for a Data Engineer with SQL knowledge that will develop and maintain database architecture and code initiatives supporting internal and third-party software solutions, delivering excellent products in scope and on time, and meeting current and long-term business needs for the business area. Participate in an agile team of motivated, driven, high-energy developers, building trust and confidence with team members and business stakeholders. Play a key role in analyzing data, identifying data patterns/anomalies and implementing algorithms with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
About the Role:
As a Data Engineer, you will be a contributing member of a team of geo-diverse project managers/scrum masters, software developers, database developers and product owners that work to deliver high quality products that meet stated success criteria. This will include but is not limited to: maintaining database systems, creating code, objects and scripts to support database development, understanding our data intake systems and how the data is transformed into our numerous product offerings. You will frequently wear multiple hats in a collaborative agile development environment with an opportunity to enhance your skills as a data analyst, database developer and application tester.
Your Expertise
? Bachelor?s Degree in computer science, related technical field, or equivalent experience
? 6 months database experience or related coursework (SQL Server, PostgreSQL preferred)
? Ability to understand data models for the integration of multiple systems
? Ability to create and maintain stored procedures, views and functions
? Ability to write SQL queries and statements to explore source data and data issues
? Must speak and write in English fluently; Effective communicator

Pay Range: $40,000 – $160,000
