About the Team:

About the Role:
You will report to the Executive Director of Conference & Event Operations. You will and prospect and close new sponsorship sales and group registrations within assigned events. You will also develop new relationships with trade associations, publications, and organizations on a global scale to increase the reach and visibility of the events portfolio.
You Will:
? Work closely with marketing, editorial, and senior conference team to qualify, validate, and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, conference and prospect lists, discovery and individual research
? Expand the prospects for both attendance and sponsorships across the events portfolio by developing new association and publication relationships
? Respond to and close group sales leads for assigned events
? Develop new prospects for external group sales outreach
? Travel 5-10% domestically and internationally to attend events and solidify relationships with current and new sponsors & customers
You Have:
? Minimum of 2 years? experience in event or sponsorship sales
? Interest in the energy, chemical, and sustainability sectors
? Built cross-organizational relationships and effectively leveraged them to identify new opportunities
? Experience developing new prospects for external group sales outreach
? Salesforce, NetSuite, Aventri, or Cvent proficiency
? Undergraduate degree (preferred)
