About the team The Rentals Sales Team provides outstanding advertising solutions and business consultation for Multi-Family partners. We are a team of high-energy individuals committed to helping Zillow Group users make more thoughtful decisions about buying, renting, owning, and selling homes. Specifically, the Multi-Family Rental sales team works with owners and operators of rental properties… throughout the US, helping to connect rental shoppers with the property they will next call home. We provide creative technological solutions, strategic data, and excellent training and development to amplify our clients’ growth as true partners in their business. About the role
The role of the Business Development Representative is to seek out new business opportunities in the Multifamily Rentals industry. The role requires a strong mindset, a high-level work ethic, and a closer mentality. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until our Sales Executives close the deal. Responsibilities
Primary responsibility is driving appointments for top-line revenue through setting acquisition appointments for Sales Executives
Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails (50 – 100 dials/day)
Localize your knowledge of trends, market conditions, and advertising tendencies based on market
Proactively prospect new business opportunities in the market
Contact and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the paying prospects pool
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. ?Remote? employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.
In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $21.90 – $34.95 Hourly. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role are eligible for incentive compensation and equity awards. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
Who you are
0+ years of inside sales/telesales
Possess high energy and a strong desire to achieve top results with a charismatic, positive ?can-do? attitude via the phone and in-person
High ethical values and integrity
Ability to prioritize and use time management
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications, as well as the Google suite of tools
Excellent written/verbal communication skills
Salesforce.com or other CRM experience preferred
