Job Description

The Transcript Administrator position is a full-time employment opportunity supporting UAGC?s Office of the Registrar. Reporting to the Transcript Administration Manager, the Transcript Administrator is responsible for working with a team to collect transcripts for maximizing transfer credit toward degree completion.

Duties & Responsibilities…
? Responsible for reviewing student applications and cross – referencing National Student Clearinghouse to determine each student?s prior education.
? Responsible for researching institutions to determine the preferred request method and placing a third-party transcript request on the student?s behalf.
? Responsible for updating the Transcript Management System to keep transcript updates organized. Responsible for contacting institutions to follow up on transcript requests.
? Responsible for student and school communication to ensure receipt of transcripts and documents needed to fulfill admission requirements.
? Responsible for accurately and efficiently reviewing transcripts and documents in student files.
? Responsible for notifying the Document Imaging team to ensure accurate workflow placement.
? Responsible for ahigh volume of phone and email communication with students, internal departments, and external institutions to coordinate transcript collection.
? Responsible for de-escalating student concerns, while providing an excellent student experience through support and conflict resolution.
? Responsible for following and upholding University policies and procedures.
? Directly respond and interact to all student inquires.
? Any other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
? Ability to follow University policies and procedures balanced with the ability to apply good independent judgment.
? Good organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
? Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Outlook to manage communication and work flow.
? Ability to utilize student information systems to manage communication and work flow.
? Ability to utilize reports to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of processes.

Minimum Qualifications:
? High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience may be required.
? Prior work experience not required.

Preferred Qualifications:
? Bachelor?s Degree preferred

Rate of Pay: $15.00 – $18.75

Compensation Type: Hourly at 1.0 full-time equivalence (FTE)

Grade: 2
