Role Description:
We are seeking a Biostatistician/Data Visualization Specialist, who will play a critical role in collecting, organizing, and analyzing complex health data sets to support healthcare system improvements. This position will also require building advanced data… management systems and data reporting dashboards. This includes presenting findings and visualizations using Microsoft Power BI. The statistician should also be proficient in conducting analyses of large data sets using SPSS and R, and linking data to study dashboards. The Biostatistician/Data Visualization Specialist will apply various methodologies to:
? Interpret quantitative and qualitative data sets from military and private-sector healthcare facilities,
? Conduct comparative analyses using national performance standards,
? Report on actionable insights to support health system leadership in decision-making and process improvements,
? Deliver insights that enhance healthcare services and outcomes. The Biostatistician/Data Visualization Specialist will collaborate with clinical and administrative teams, creating data dashboards, charts, and reports that communicate key trends to stakeholders, ensuring process enhancements are based on data-driven strategies.
Experience and Qualifications:
? At least 5 years of experience designing and conducting statistical analyses in healthcare studies, including collecting and analyzing large data sets based on health performance metrics and standards.
? Ability to interpret results and disseminate findings through papers, presentations, and advanced visualizations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
? Advanced proficiency in Power BI, R, and Azure SQL is required.
? Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
? Knowledge of healthcare privacy and security regulations, such as HIPAA.
? Master?s Degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology or a related field is preferred.
? Experience working in a team environment, with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Work Environment:
? This position is remote with opportunities for occasional travel to client sites or healthcare facilities.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $120,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
