THE OPPORTUNITY
As the Lead Analyst for Restaurant Operations and Support Center Analytics, you will spearhead the execution of data analyses to provide actionable insights specific to Chipotle’s key operating metrics and guest experience, including digital and in-store operating performance, Voice of the Customer, and digital restaurant experience. The best candidates will be a self-starting problem-solver,possess a strong quantitative background with an understanding of AI/ML algorithms and have good presentation/data-storytelling skills. This position will work closely with the Operations, Digital Restaurant Experience, and Guest Experience teams in tracking performance of key metrics across their functional areas. This position will partner with data, business intelligence, and data science teams to deliver robust solutions for recurring key performance indicator insights and self-service capabilities.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
In addition to following and supporting Chipotle’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Execute in-depth analyses specific to Chipotle operations to drive a deeper understanding of our key metrics around in-store and digital operations; Lead analyses specific to digital and in-restaurant experiences including refunds and customer feedback.
Lead delivery of large insight initiatives that inform key operating decisions around digital and in-restaurant experiences.
Act as the lead analytics member on the Operations, Digital Restaurant Experience, and Guest Experience teams to ensure a unified understanding of the key metrics and data underlying each of the respective areas of the business.
Present and communicate complex analyses, findings, insights, recommendations through compelling storytelling in a clear and concise manner.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE
Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) with a quantitative background, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics; Master’s Degree preferred.
5-8 years of experience in an analytics role, specifically supporting internal customers in uncoveringand applying insights from statistical algorithms.
Experience in leading larger analyses either single-handedly, or with help from internal and external teams.
Proficient in data analysis, insights generation, presentations, and data-storytelling.
Ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations, build bridges using objective data analyses, and present insights to the larger organization (to both a technical and non-technical audience).
Fundamental understanding of databases with intermediate SQL skills to write custom queries; Snowflake, Salesforce Service Cloud and/or semi-structured data a definite plus.
Knowledge of Test & Controlprocedures (A/B Testing), background in computer/statistical programminglanguages,(SQL, R, Python),Power BI, MS Office -(Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook).
Experience in consumer retail industry is preferred.

PAY TRANSPARENCY
A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $126,000-176,000. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
