Qualifications

Bachelor?s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience

8+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on Databricks
?
Proven track record of designing and implementing complex data solutions using Databricks, Apache Spark, and related technologies
?
Strong understanding of cloud platforms such AWS
?
Experience with SQL, Python, Scala, or other programming languages commonly used in data engineering
?
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
?
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation
Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of data solutions using Databricks, including data ingestion, transformation, and processing
?
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical… solutions

Architect scalable and efficient data pipelines on the Databricks platform to support business analytics and reporting needs
?
Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of Databricks engineers, ensuring best practices and standards are followed

Conduct code reviews, performance optimizations, and troubleshooting of Databricks applications

Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the data engineering space and make recommendations for continuous improvement
?
Act as a subject matter expert on Databricks, providing guidance and support to stakeholders across the organization
